Found this pic(along with a boat load more) on FB. The caption read that it was taken in France, fall of 44'. I count at least four different colors. Anyone have any idea what they might be?
It’s hard to tell on black and white photos, but from the color photos I have see, there seams to be 3 colors used in the time frame and location for this particular sherman. Olive drab, black, and a khaki color, (lighter shade of Olive Drab). I’m not saying that this one doesn’t have 4 colors on it, but my guess would be the 3 colors mentioned above with some dust or dried mud thrown in for good effect.

John totally agree with the colors you got. Why I'm thinking 4 is the patch forward of the black. To me it looks like black, red brownish, olive drab then the khaki. Got a friend coming by that can read black and white photos and I'll see what she has to say.

Sweet Pic John! I see the colors, I think we maybe onto something. I showed my friend my pic and she said she saw four colors, Black, two shades of green, and a dark red or brown. Oh this is not going to end well, I don't think I'll be able to resist camoing a Sherman!
